I enjoy making simple functional forms that are meant to be handled and enjoyed on a daily basis. This earthenware mug was thrown on the wheel the design was then painted on and the letters were stamped ,then bisque fired, after this step the glaze was applied then the piece was fired again to 1100 degrees in an electric kiln.
