MIni bowl with blue splatter glaze

Thrown mini bowl with blue painted flowers and clear glaze 

I enjoy making simple functional forms that are meant to be handled and enjoyed on a daily basis. This stoneware bowl was thrown on the wheel, the pattern was painted on then bisque fired, after this step the glaze was applied then the piece was fired again to 1280 degrees in an electric kiln.

Made from stoneware clay
