I enjoy making simple functional forms that are meant to be handled and enjoyed on a daily basis. This earthenware bowl was thrown on the wheel, then bisque fired and the design was hand painted ,after this step the glaze was applied then the piece was fired again to 1100 degrees in an electric kiln.
