I enjoy making simple functional forms that are meant to be handled and enjoyed on a daily basis. This earthenware plate was thrown on the wheel then I hand painted the design, then bisque fired, after this step the glaze was applied then the piece was fired again to 1100 degrees in an electric kiln.
